Welcome to Cross Timbers Veterinary Hospital, Inc.
Our practice is located at 1403 Highway 59 N, Bowie, Texas. Bowie is a town with a population of about 5,000 people. It is in a very rural area. Cross Timbers Veterinary Hospital, Inc. has an approximate ratio of 50/50 mix of large and small animals. We also have a clinic located at 201 N. Main Street, Nocona, Texas.
We are a progressive and very busy practice. We have three full time and one part time veterinarians. Our main complex includes three buildings, one is the small animal facility, one is the bovine only and one is equine only. Our bovine is mostly beef cattle, but occasionally we have a call from some of the dairies in the area. Our equine work includes ranch horses, cutting horses and a few "show" horses. We are the only large animal clinic in the county, so we cover a wide area. Our small animal facility includes:
lasercyte cbc
vetest chem analyzer
vetlyte electrolyte machine
sevoflourane
isoflourane
video endoscope
otoscope
arthroscope and
laproscope
We perform a fair amount of orthopedic surgeries, as well as all other surgeries.
I hope this information is helpful
